Cala Figuera

Cala Figuera offers a blend of picturesque backdrop and azure blue sky arches in Majorca. One can enjoy typical elegant Mallorcan architecture, the famous white facades of the fisherman's houses, and the turquoise blue waters in this fishing village on the Southeast coast of Mallorca.

The striking Y shaped bay which is bounded by low cliffs Caló d'En Boira and Caló d'En Busques gets its name from the fig trees that are found there. You can see the boat sheds complemented by palm and fig trees, hibiscus and almond blossoms. One can also visit the Parc Natural de Mondragó a 765-acre nature reserve in the North East which is home to about 70 species of birds, rare species of wild goats, least Weasels, wild rabbits and Mediterranean turtles. In the South East of the village lies the Cala Llombards, a bay fanning out with pearly white sand beach. If you are a sucker for water sports then you can even rent sail or motor boats and can also enjoy snorkeling and sea diving in the blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea. You can relax and enjoy the stunning visuals of the bay while enjoying the fresh seafood and Mallorcan delicacies with a glass of fine wine in the harbor restaurants.
