Inca, Majorca Overview

Known for its wine cellars, Inca is a popular town in the Spanish island of Majorca. There are two reasons why one visits this place: it offers the best traditional celler restaurants and it is the core of the leather industry of the island.

Inca lies halfway from Palma to Alcudia and is located at the foot of the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range. It is the third largest town in Mallorca and is also known as the city of leather. Home to the popular shoe brand Camper, a visit to these leather factories are a must while visiting Inca. There are a few buildings that depict the architecture of this place like the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore, Church of Santo Domingo and San Francisco. Placa d'Espana is home to numerous restaurants and cafes in the town. There are also amazing places to hike and explore in the countryside area.
