Golden Bay is a beautiful bay and sand beach in Malta with largely unspoiled surroundings. It is situated near the village of Manikata, next to Għajn Tuffieħa on the northwest coast of Malta. It is a famous spot for swimming, sunbathing, watersports, and beach parties.
Golden Bay is famed for its red sand and dunes formed naturally on its surrounding slopes. It is a sandy beach just like Għajn Tuffieħa, but it is slightly more popular because of the larger sandy stretch. It is a Blue Flag-certified beach with easy access and convenient facilities, including restaurants. It is one of the finest beaches in Malta for swimming. This long & deep bay is suitable for water sports like kayaking and jet skiing and especially barbecues, in the evenings, to enjoy recreational summer nights at the beach.
