Sakleshpur is a very good place to visit any time of year, though I would recommend for November / December. I have been there twice once in December and once during rains in July. Best places to visit in india,not only the places but also the culture and traditions of people who are unique and caring, the beaches here are refreshing..there are great temples to worship and also (Read More) it is the place for good education...lots of different languages but one common language is Kudla ...in Tulu...

- Do Carry mosquito repellents as Malaria is endemic in this region. Being a culturally diverse place, a number of langauges are spoken here including Tulu, Kannada, Konkani and English.

Good beach. Clear waters. Not that clean(3/5 for cleanliness).
There are certain water sports that one can try. It is very near to the port. If you go early mornings, one may get a chance to see a sh (Read More)ip passby.

This temple is actually very big. Again, a cluster of small temples with one central shiva temple and you can climb up the stairs to go to muths.

Well, not a miniature fortress but a very small tower. This place is very close to Tannirbhavi beach where one can opt for a ferry ride to the beach. The beach is actually quite beautiful and very st (Read More)range that holidify doesn't mention it.

Good for family outings and situated at Mangalore outskirts. Has everything right from small water park, zoo, a place for boating, science centre, aquariums.

You need proper 3 days if perfectly planned to cover all the places.
