Alexandra Falls Viewpoint

Hidden deep in the jungle of the Black River Gorges National Park, Alexandra Falls is something straight out of an Indiana Jones movie scene (although it will be a relief for you to know there will not be any ugly spiders, the size of humans, over there). 

Moving on, you will come across a bridge where a little stream flows. A bridge and a couple of stairs will lead you to the viewpoint. This will hardly take 5 minutes. Once you are there, there is a wooden platform for you to take in the full view of the South-east coast and the turquoise blue ocean. Admire it all you can. Do not miss the chance to capture it on your camera and show it off on social media.

You will be able to spot the falls from where you stand. From there, the waterfall will look like a silent white stream dropping over giant rocks. You will catch the view of Mauritius' virgin green valley which houses an extensive collection of endemic flora and fauna. These eye-catching attractions are a treat for sore eyes.
