Frost Island, also known as 115 Island, is located in Mergui archipelago in southern Myanmar. It is known for crystal clear white sand beaches and thousands of beautiful corals, tropical fish and sea urchins. It is among the top attractions for tourists visiting the archipelago for enjoying kayaking, snorkelling and jungle trekking.
Frost Island has some of the best unknown beaches, making it a great destination to enjoy a serene beach vacation. It is home to the sea gipsies or the Moken ethnic community, which is one of the protected groups known for their unique nomadic culture. Tourists can visit their houses and interact with them via the tours organized by the reserve centre.
