The Adamas World War Two Bomb Shelter is an old German bomb shelter tunnel with 12 chambers located in Adamas port on Milos Island. The bomb shelter is now an art gallery showcasing modern Greek art and war history, including photographs, multimedia exhibits, refuge testimonials, and accounts.
The dimly lit bomb shelter serves as a testimonial of the war. Milos was a German base during the world war two occupation of Crete. Tunnels and passages such as the Adamas tunnel were constructed throughout the island for food and ammunition storage and protection from British air attacks. The church of Holy Trinity and Milos Mining Museum are located nearby.
