Klima is a picturesque seaside fishing village close to Plaka town and a 15-minute ride from Adamas port. The village has a vibrant lane filled with colourful two-story houses built in the traditional style locally known as Syrmatas or Sirma. The main attractions are Klima Beach, a short and cosy beach with a seafront restaurant.
These boathouses are whitewashed with multi-coloured door and balcony accents, making them one of the most scenic spots on the island. Most houses now serve as guest accommodations, souvenir shops, and eateries. The village is accessible via a hike down the hill to the main waterfront. Agios Dimitrios and Holy Friday are two beautiful churches in Klima. Klima village is downhill from the ancient capital of Melos and was a significant part of the prominent sea trade in the past. The village settlement dates back to 1100 bc. The Catacombs and the Ancient theatre of Milos are a 10-minute drive from Klima.
