Paralia Firopotamos is a short beach in the small fishing village of Firopotamos on the northern coast of Milos Island. The Paralia, which is Greek for the beach, is built inside a small bay with crystal clear shallow waters. Several terraces across the surrounding hill serve as high diving spots.
Canteen services, parking area, and rentable sunbeds are available for a price. The chapel of Saint Nicholas, patron of men at sea, is uphill from the beach. The beach is surrounded by hills on one side and picturesque white and blue colored boat houses traditionally called symratas. The Plathiena beach is a few km from Firopotamos.
