Tiwi Beach, Mombasa Overview
Located in Mombasa, Tiwi Beach is known for its white sand and secluded location. It is a perfect spot for diving and snorkelling. Birdwatching is also a famous tourist activity here. Coconut palms and casuarinas trees along the side of the beach make the view a picturesque one.
The coral reefs are located 50 metres from the beach and can be reached by boat. The weather is generally warm, and the best time to visit Tiwi beach is in February when the heat is less and the water is of a convenient temperature. A taxi or public transport can be taken from Diani beach to reach Tiwi Spot. One can rent an umbrella and a sling chair to enjoy the view, as well as feast on the local delicacies that the adjacent cafe has to offer.
