This museum hosts exhibitions of aritists from all over the world. It was inaugurated on December 10, 1911.
The National Museum Of Visual Arts in Montevideo, has the countryÍs largest collection of artwork. Few artists in the crowd are Rafael Barradas, JoaquÕn Torres GarcÕa, and the artist Pablo Serrano, who lived for twenty years in the city. The museum also hosts temporary exhibitions of artists whose artwork travels in different museums around the world.
