Kalafatis Beach, Mykonos Overview
Located 12 kilometers away in south east of Mykonos town, Kalafatis Beach is a large, uncrowded beach which is known to be family friendly. It is a less developed beach with basic facilities and offers various water-sports opportunities. A part of the beach has no sunbeds or lounges and is covered with trees where one can relax after a summer dip.
The beach offers plenty area for own towels with tall trees. The area also accomodates several hotels and villas. There are som sunbeds and umbrellas available for rent and there are enough changing rooms and showers. The beach is shallow making it ideal for kids. However, sea bed is rocky, it would be wise to wear beach shoes.
The beach is accessible by public bus from Chora or takes 15 minutes via taxi. It also features a contraption for disable people to help them getting in and out of the sea. Agia Anna beach is at walking distance.

Other Important Objective Information : Limited parking is available. Bus stop is located just accross the beach. It is wheelchair accessible. 2 sunbeds and an umbreela is available for rent at 50 EUR.
