The Platys Gialos beach with crystalline blue water and golden sand adds fun. It is known for water sports like yacht cruises, parasailing, swimming, fishing, boating and other activities. The hills surrounding the village are known for their trails. You could take a short hike to the neighbouring beach of Agia Anna. Platys Gialos does not have any banks or ATMs, so carrying cash is advisable. It can be reached by bus, car or Mykonos water taxi services.
