Kolanpaku Jain Temple, Nalgonda Overview
A popular Jain shrine, Kolanpaku Jain Temple or Sri Shwethambar Jain Mandir is located in Kolanpaku Village close to an ancient town of Aleru Mandal. The temple features the idol of three Jain Tirthankaras namely Lord Mahaveera, Lord Neminath and Lord Adinath.
Besides these the temple also houses 21 other idols of Theerthankaras. Crafted out of red sandstone and pillars made out of white marble, the structure of the temple was renovated about 20 years aback by Jain Communities of Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat. It is sprawling across the area of 1 acre while reaming 19 acres is used for guest houses and Dharamshala.
