This palace was initiated by Haidar Ali and completed by Tipu Sultan and was used by the latter as his summer resort. It was also named by him as the Tashk-e-Jannat, meaning the envy of heaven. The construction is mainly of wood and displays brilliantly carved arches and pillars along with the beautifully painted walls and ceilings.
