Originally a quarry, the Centennial Gardens in Napier, New Zealand, puts out a picturesque view for visitors with its beautiful waterfall and limestone cliff. This garden was designed to honour Napier’s centenary in 1974 as a city, and the inmates of the city’s prison were chosen to remodel this place.

The waterfall here is an impressive attraction where water is pumped to the main pool from the lower pool and then transferred 40 metres to the top of the cliff from where it gushes down the limestone cliff face. This is a sight to behold after sunset and at night when the lights are lit.
