Adventureland, New York City Overview
Sprawling over five hectares in East Farmingdale, Adventureland has been Long Island’s amusement park since 1962 and is located at around 37 miles from New York City. Featured in various movies, music videos and television shows, the park has thrill rides like Pirate Ship, Frisbee and Turbulence Coaster for adventure seekers.
Water rides like Saf-T-Swim’s Rescue Boats, Little Dipper Water Ride and Adventure Falls will add refreshment on a sultry day. Get on the family rides like Ferris Wheel, Rattlesnake Coaster, Merry Go Round, Lighthouse Drop Tower, Wave Swing and Sports Tower to enjoy with kids. Little ones can make the best out of Kiddie rides like the Carousel and Pirate Island. The obstacle course of Bungy and outdoor games like Balloon Race and High Striker are notable. Earn points at the climate-controlled arcade, get souvenirs and gears at Midway Market and eat at the restaurants, snack stands, food court and sweet shop.
