This 323-year-old colonial-era farm spanning 47 acres in the neighborhood of Glen Oaks in Queens is New York City's largest area of undisturbed farmland.
It’s a perfect family destination with ample attractions like historic farm buildings & equipment, a greenhouse, planting grounds, a fruit garden, a petting zoo, seasonal festivals, various educational programs, a children's garden as well as farm produce shops to keep both adults and children busy. Children can feed and pet farm animals like baby pigs, goats, chickens, geese, etc, and many other farm animals. Cornell Farmhouse, now a “New York City Landmark” built in the 1750s features British and dutch architecture of the colonial era. The farm also sells fresh eggs, honey, maple syrup, & fresh veggies.
