High Point State Park is a landscaping delight in the northwest corner of New Jersey, with multiple great trails for hikers such as the Appalachian Trail, the Cedar Swamp Trail, and the High Point Cross Country Ski Center. Quite a popular destination for campers, it offers various facilities and activities including well-furnished cabins, tent sites with picnic tables, flush and pit toilets, boating, fishing, and swimming. The highest point in the state, it provides a breathtaking view of the farmlands, forests, hills and valleys below.
