Morey’s Piers & Beachfront Waterparks is a waterside amusement park that is located at The Wildwoods' boardwalk in Wildwood, New Jersey. The Morey’s Piers & Beachfront Waterparks has been family owned and has been run since 1969, and is presently owned by the 2nd generation of Morey Brothers, Will, and Jack Morey. The Morey’s Piers & Beachfront Waterparks is famed for having more than 100 rides and activities amongst its three amusement piers and the two beachfront waterparks.
The rides they had included :
Surfside Pier: In 1969, Bill and Will Morey Sr opened a pier called Morey's Pier and inaugurated it that summer with a massive fiberglass slide called The Wipe Out. At the time the price of admission to guests was 25 cents to slide down the Wipe Out in burlap sacks.
Mariner's Landing: The Morey brothers had extended their business in 1976 when they bought a Marine Pier and renamed it “Mariner’s Landing”. When the Morey brothers first bought the pier it had taken significant fire damage and seven of its existing 12 rides on the pier had to be discarded. However, the Morey brothers didn’t let it end there and they in 1984 purchased the Sea Serpent roller coaster for the pier.
Raging Waters and Ocean Oasis Waterparks: In 1985, the Morey brothers had decided to add waterslides which were installed on Mariner’s Landing and was called Raging Waters waterpark. The waterpark was designed by designer and architect Fred Langford. They had decided to build a second Raging Waters and it was built on Surfside Pier in 1988. This water park was refurbished and opened as the Ocean Oasis Water Park & Beach Club in 2006 and has amenities like Bonsai Beach, the Endless River, and multiple new waterslides.
Adventure Pier: The Morey brothers bought Fun Pier and renamed it Wild Wheels. The Morey's said it could be an "interactive amusement center" and would engage all of its customers. This pier was refurbished and launched once again as the Adventure Pier and became home to rides such as The Great White, The Spring Shot ride, a Screamin' Swing, a Skycoaster, a maze, a boat tag game, batting cages, the Skyscraper ride, and the Grand Prix Raceway.
