Shinnecock Hills Golf Club, New York City Overview
It is located in Southampton, Long Island in New York State, which is two to three hours’ drive from New York City. It is one of the oldest golf clubs in the city and the country.
From then on, a lot of renovations and restorations have been done to the park to expand its capacity. This was initially designed by Willie Davis with 12 holes, but presently it has 18 holes.
This is a private golf club, if you do not have a membership, you must be accompanied by a member, and they can play free of charge but are required to pay for the caddie master and locker room services. People are expected to be in proper golfing attire and mobiles are not supposed to be used while on the ground. Parking for cars is generally available for members and non-members.
