Wolf’s Pond beach is a hidden gem tucked away on Staten Island’s south shore. Part of the much larger Wolfe’s Pond Park, one of Staten Island’s largest parks, this beach attracts those looking to spend quiet time on the beach surrounded by nature
Due to its proximity to the park and relative seclusion, Wolfe’s Pond beach has a wide array of flora and fauna both around the beach and in the water. Many species of seaweed and water plants as well as small and medium sized marine life can be seen here, especially during spring. There are also well marked out hiking trails and fishing areas dotted around the beach and adjoining park.
The park is accessible through public transport, and the closest bus station is a 10 minute walk away.
