Founded in 1666, the Old First Presbytarian Church is located in Downtown Newark and has a rich history. In its early days, it was the seat of government of Newark and the pastors served as the first presidents of Yale, Princeton and Harvard Universities. This church is not just famous for its rich history but also for its beautiful sanctuary. The church is a one story structure with a tower and a two bay facade. Like most of the Churches in Newark, the architecture style of this church is also Gothic Revival.
