Trang An Grottoes

One of the most popular destinations in Ninh Binh, the Trang An Grottoes are a perfect amalgam of natural beauty and heritage value. It comprises of the Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, the Trang An-Tam Coc-Bich Dong Scenic Landscape, and the Hoa Lu Special-Use Forest. This site is also a listed UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Trang An Grottoes is a marvellous collection of limestone rocks carpeted with emerald greenery. situated in the midst of sparkling river water, this destination can either be accessed through simply walking or cycling. However, one of the best ways to explore this region is through an organised boat excursion. The boats take two possible routes- one has 9 caves, while the newer route takes you through 4 caves and remainder of the village set used for shooting Kong: Skull Island. This destination is perfect to sit back and relax with your friends and family while you row away in your boat. And if you like to indulge in some activities, there are loads of them in Trang An. You can try your hand at mountain hiking, biking or try to paddle the bamboo boat if you want. You can also indulge in some delicious snacks here and interact with the locals as you meander through this enchanting landscape.
