Diamond Beach

Diamond Beach is one of Nusa Penida’s multiple “cliff beaches”, with striking white sand and turquoise water. It is named after pointy, diamond-shaped rocks on the beach. It is popular for the viewpoint where you can take photos with a thatched nest with stunning views. The beach is reachable through a small trek.

You can also swing on a swing set tied to two palm trees and enjoy the view of Nusa Penida’s blue waters. Unfortunately, despite the inviting blue waters, strong currents, rocks, and corals make it difficult to swim here. Earlier the beach was inaccessible but it can now be reached in 20 minutes through limestone stairs and walking over and around the rocks. It is recommended to visit the beach during low tide.

Diamond Beach is located close to Atuh Beach and Thousand Island Viewpoint. All three spots are located on the east side of Nusa Penida. You can visit Thousand Island Viewpoint for sunrise and then visit the beaches after.
