Paros Park, Paros Overview

Paros Park, established in 2009, is an 80-hectare protected area on the Agios Ioannis Detis peninsula, approximately 6 km from Naoussa. Visitors can explore 7 km of marked hiking trails leading to sites like the Korakas Lighthouse, relax on beaches such as Monastiri, and attend cultural events at the open-air amphitheater and Cine Enastron. The park also features the historic Ai Yiannis Detis Monastery, hosting exhibitions on Paros' history.

If you want a more relaxed experience, you can enjoy swimming on one of the three bays inside the park, take part in events happening throughout the year or experience the surreal sunset at Cape Corrakas Lighthouse. The Park also has the facility of a restaurant bar where you can savour refreshments and snacks while enjoying the beautiful view of the park's landscape. The best time to visit the park is during the months of June to September when the greenery is at its peak, and a couple of events are also organised in the park. It was the first of its kind when it was founded in 2009, intending to preserve the Agios Ioannis Detis peninsula.
