Kyunkaleshwar Mahadev, Pauri Garhwal Overview
It is an ancient temple of 8th century whose presiding deity is Lord Shiva along with Goddess Parvati, Ganesha and Karthikeyan. Situated in the suburbs of the town, it is believed that the temple was established by Adi Guru Shankaracharya while on his visit.
The temple apart from its religious importance also offers panoramic sight of snow capped peaks of Himalayas.
