The Ta Cu Mountain comprises of an amalgamation of lush rainforests, rare wildlife and ornate Buddha statuettes.
The picturesque Linh Son Truong Tho Pagoda is set atop the Ta Cu Mountain. It can be accessed by cable car (10 minutes) or a two hour trek through the wilderness. The trek is steep and winding and not advised for those without the necessary stamina or experience. The Pagoda features several worship halls, three entrance pillars, intricate animal sculptures, primogenitor caves, and colourful paintings of deities. Built in 1879, its main attraction is a 49-metre-long statue of a reclining Buddha that’s hailed as the biggest of its kind in Vietnam. Located close by are a cluster of statues called the 'Three Buddha Postures'.
