La Mina Waterfall is also known as Cascada La Mina is one of the best waterfalls in Puerto Rico for its two trails that is the La Mina trail and the Big Tree Trail. Covered by 29,000 acres of greenery, the trail follows the La Mina River and is also the shortest trail in Puerto Rico.
It also has a pool at the base of the waterfall of 35 feet and is easily accessible by climbing down the rocks. The La Mina Waterfall is a famous picnic spot in Puerto Rico that provides a picnic shelter with picnic tables and benches.
