Farma of Rhodes

Farma of Rhodes is a small animal sanctuary or a zoo located a couple of kilometers north of the Valley of the Butterflies, in the Paradeisi area of Rhodes. You can feed, touch, and take photos with various animals, including ostriches, lemurs, and more. There is also an onsite on-site snack bar and a souvenir shop. To reach this zoo, you can get a public bus from Old Town Rhodes to Valley of the Butterflies and then walk for 44 minutes.

You can meet and feed ostriches, who respond to their own names, and observe animals such as camels, llamas, ponies, donkeys, and kangaroos in fair-sized enclosures. Freely walking peacocks are also beautiful to see. After touring the farm, visitors can enjoy handmade dishes such as ostrich omelette and ostrich burgers at the on-site snack bar. The farm’s souvenir shop offers unique items like carved and painted ostrich eggs, cosmetics made from ostrich products, bee honey, herbs, and other farm products.
