Tilyar Lake itself is spread over 20 acres of the area surrounded by water shrubs and forest. The lake attracts a vast array of birds along with their admirers and also the general crowd which craves for a picnic all the while.

Tilyar Lake Resort serves its visitors with a restaurant, zoo, mini train and park for kids and shops for anything and everything essential. The most enjoyable activities in Tilyar lake are the Boating, Angling and Kayaking activities which will surely pump the adrenaline required.
The zoo is a favourite part of Tilyar for children as they enjoy viewing the magical creatures Deers, Panthers, Monkeys and all the different types of birds. Tilyar Lake authorities also support angling in the lake for which a permit must be obtained from the authorities. The permit costs INR 200, and you can enjoy angling from 7 AM to 6 PM during the Summers and from 8 AM to 5 PM during the Winters.
