Roing is located in the Lower Dibang Valley, Arunachal Pradesh housing lush green valleys, rivers, snow-capped peaks, and rich in flora and fauna. It is also a good place for adventure activities such as Trekking, Angling, Rafting, and Rock Climbing. A place with high literacy rate, it inhibits friendly people. Adi-Padam and Idu-Mishmi Tribes reside in this town. Reh festival of Idu Mishmi is celebrated in the month of February while Solung festival of Adi in September every year with great joy here. These tribes are deep-rooted to their culture and values which make it a must-visit destination to know about our country's cultural diversity.

Suggested Itinerary for Roing

Day 1- Reach the hotel in Roing and have early breakfast and then you can leave for Bhismaknagar Fort which 30 km from Roing and witness the sacred heritage of Idu Mishmis. After experiencing the fine display of grandeur, you can head off to Mehao Wildlife Sanctuary where you'll find various species of animals as well flora. You can go for trekking in the dense forest or take a boating ride in the beautiful natural Mehao Lake. It is a tourist attraction in itself. After witnessing a glimpse of the natural beauty of Roing, you can go back to your hotel for dinner.
Day 2- Next day, you can leave late in the morning for a trek to Hunli. It is a picturesque town and a very famous tourist spot sitting at an altitude of 5000 ft. It offers landscaping views and brings you into close proximity with nature. Nearby is Kupunli which is frequented by tourists due to a cave temple, where you can go after strolling in the town. You may find yourself unable to stop taking pictures.
Day 3- After trekking a long distance the previous day, you can travel local on your third day here. A kilometre away from Roing is a forest park, Nehru Van Udyan on the banks of Deopani River. It has beautiful orchids and cactus house along with Eje-Breeze Tower which has a spectacular view of Deopani River. You can also go to Rivers Eje and Eme, which attract nature lovers and famous picnic spots. After this, you can head off to Roing Bazaar which is very famous and visited by all tourists. Yu can do some shopping here and then head back to the hotel for dinner.
Day 4- Your last day can be a last peaceful time with nature while listening to it and experiencing its beauty. 10 km away from Roing is Iphi-Pani Ghat which is just perfect for the same. It has a spectacular view of Deopani River and the valley. You can indulge in fishing or have a quiet time with nature or maybe take amazing pictures.
