Katarina Island Rovinj, Rovinj Overview
With an area of just over 130 square metres, Katrina Island is the second largest of the Rovinj archipelago. It is a mere 5-minute boat ride to the south of the city. It offers amazing views of the St. Euphemia church and the Rovinj old town and is known for its pretty gardens, parks and beaches.
The place being highly rich in flora offers over 450 varieties of plants and trees and holds at its centre a few vineyards and olive trees. Another aesthetic appeal to the island is offered by the beautiful oleander bush plantings along the paved paths that lead upto the beach.
