Best time to tour the city is from September to October. With the heat wavering off and the freezing cold yet to hit the city, the weather is pristine with temperatures between 15° to 17° C. Albeit the room rents soar but the view from the Grandeur peak and the sunsets in the Great Salt Marina are sure worth the penny. This is the perfect time to explore the hiking trails of the Bryce Canyon or a tour of the caves in Timpanogos.
April to May is spring time in Salt Lake Valley and could be a good time to explore the outdoors. Though melting of snows and high precipitation could be a turn off for some, if one doesn’t mind the wet climate they could have quite a time venturing out the city.
Winters are the perfect time to explore the mountain slopes. Skiing and bobsleighing in the Wild trails of the Wasatch Mountains are a favorite among the thrill-seekers. The Olympic Park too provides substantiate amounts of winter sports activities worth a day’s tour to the site. Winters in the city are cold with frequent snowfall, making the mountains ideal for ample skiing and bobsleighing opportunities.
