Located on the northern coast of Samos, around 4 km from Karlovasi, Mikro Seitani Beach is a small and secluded beach that can only be reached on foot. The hike to the shore takes about 30 minutes through rocky woods and olive groves. The water here is deep and crystal clear, making it ideal for a relaxing swim. The raw and untarnished beauty of the beach because of its isolated location is its main draw.
But that also means no amenities like food, water, and facilities are available here. Nudity is a common and widely accepted practice at the beach if that is something you are comfortable with. Mikro Seitani Beach gets its name from a Turkish word that means ‘devil’. The moniker was earned because of strange sounds heard in and around the beach when the strong Northern Winds blow. The beach is also a part of the official protection network Natura 2000 for the Monachus-Monachus seals who nest and thrive here yearly. Northern Winds can be treacherous here and create big waves several feet tall.
