Renowned as a hiker’s haven, Wallace Falls is situated near Gold Bar, Washington that offers 12 miles of out-and-back trail. Nestled on the west side of Cascade Mountains, Wallace Falls State Park is a beautiful recreational area of 1,380 acres that surrounds Wallace Falls and Wallace River.
The three-tiered waterfalls gush over rock and timber and fall into the clear pool of water below. To get a good look at the falls, meander through the multiple trails that’ll take hikers to lower, middle, and upper viewpoints, or through Greg Ball Trails and an old logging road. There are walk-in tent sites available at the State Park that’s available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Along with the tent sites, there are cabins, too, that can be reserved before getting to the park.
