Feria De Abril, Seville Overview
The Seville Fair traditionally starts two clear weeks after Semana Santa on a huge fairground in Los Remedios, to the south of the city, located near the river. During the fair, people can indulge in dancing, drinking, eating, and socializing, with late nights or all-nighters the norm.
From around midday until early evening—especially on Sunday, the first official day—Sevilla society parades around the fairground in carriages or on horseback. There are also daily bullfights, which are considered the center of attraction at the fair. The fair is all lit up with thousands of bulbs all over the area, which gives off a festive vibe. All the visitors come here for recreational activities and to take a break from their busy lives. The traditional dates are in the month of April but are to be confirmed by the townhall decree, and usually it is in the preceding summer.
