Seville Cathedral

Seville Cathedral is a magnificent Roman Catholic cathedral. It was built between the 15th and 16th centuries on the site of a medieval mosque. It is the world's largest Gothic cathedral and third-largest church, with an intriguing historical history dating back to the 11th century.

La Giralda, the bell tower that was once the minaret in Almohad Mosque, is the crown jewel of Cathedral de Seville. The Giralda stands 104.5 metres tall from base to weather vane and is a stunning emblem in Seville, which was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. The Cathedral also houses Christopher Columbus' tomb, which is a popular attraction for visitors.
