Located on the southern tip of Mahe, the Petite Police beach is situated next to its sister beach the Police Bay. Despite corals lining the beaches, it is unsafe to swim here due to the high waves. Petite Police has its beach covered with old coral formations that make for its unique photographic appearance. A popular picnic spot amongst locals for its picturesque views more than make up for the fact that it is not a swim-friendly beach.
Petite Police Beach is located on the end of a road that leads out of the quaint village of Quatre Bornes and is easily accessible. Although it is located in a relatively remote part of Seychelles, it is still serviced reliably by the public transportation system and has buses that stop at the Anse Bazzarca bus stop, located two kilometres away from the beach.
