Anse Volbert beach is the longest beach on Praslin Island of Seychelles. Also called Cote d'Or, it is the most popular beach among tourists, with a crescent-shaped stretch of white sand for 2.5km. Its main beach faces Chauve Souris, the offshore islet. Popular for watersports, the highlights are swimming, snorkelling, surfing, windsurfing, scuba diving, fishing, and sailing. It is also one of the best beaches to visit with children.
With scenic vistas that look like they belong on a postcard, Anse Volbert is a beach suited for all age groups and safe for children. The beach offers a vast choice of restaurants, shops and supermarkets. There are several accommodations located along the long coast. Tourists who only want to spend time at the beach without staying over can reach it by road or boat. Parking spaces are plenty on the way adjacent to Anse Volbert. Bus service is also convenient as there are stops all along this coastal route.
Tips : Some sections of the beach have sun loungers which are reserved for the guests of the hotels along the beach. So, avoid using these without asking prior permission
