The Al Sahaba Mosque is the second-largest mosque in Sharm El Sheikh. It is the central attraction of the old market in the Qesm Sharm Ash Sheikh region. The mosque is built with beautiful minarets, high ceilings, and ornate gold domes. At a glance, it resembles a magnificent palace with extravagant architecture, an open courtyard with fountains, and a staircase leading to the entrance.
It comprises a cultural centre, two floors, and a library. The interiors are decorated with gold embellishments and Arabic calligraphy bordering the high ends of the wall. Right across the mosque is a cafe with a waterfall built on a stone hill with carved staircases. The Egyptian architect Fouad Tawfik Hafez designed the palace. The construction work started as early as 2008. The mosque has an exquisite night view with its golden reflections and lights.
