Ras Um Sid Beach

Ras Um Sid Beach is known for its crystal-clear waters and vibrant coral reefs with giant clams and is a popular spot for swimming, snorkeling, and scuba diving. It is located in the southern part of Sharm El Sheikh. Soaking up the sun, enjoying the natural cliffs and high surrounding mountains, snorkeling, and diving are major things to do here.

During your dive, you can spot the regal angelfish, red sea bannerfish, and parrotfish up close. If you want to travel from the beach to the Red Sea area, there’s a staircase to walk down. Several restaurants and cafes near the beach offer a range of dining options, from quick bites to full meals. Red sea resort hotels and individual bungalows surround the beach. Don’t fret over lounges, sun beds, and umbrellas since many are available and a few shops sell them too. 

The most convenient way is by taxi, which takes around 10 to 15 minutes depending on traffic. Alternatively, travelers can opt for a local bus, which offers a more budget-friendly mode of transportation.
