Shahgird di Mazar is a tomb dedicated to Khwaja Khan, the apprentice (which translates to shagird) of the renowned Ustad Syad Khan. Khwaja Khan is believed to have achieved the fame of his master, Ustad Syad Khan, as a builder and architect. This structure is constructed in a Muslim architectural style and is popularly known as Talanian Maqbaras. The facade bears a striking resemblance to Humayun’s Tomb in Delhi. Shahgird di Mazar is famous for its beautiful architectural style. Few of the paintings have been lost. However, the remaining ones in the structure flaunt the exceptional artistry of that era.
