Papadiamantis House Museum, Skiathos Overview
Papadiamantis House Museum is the former residence of the famous Greek poet and novelist Alexandros Papadiamantis. It is located on Papadiamanti street on Skiathos Island. The house turned museum displays exhibits highlighting the writer's life and works. Photographs, personal items, furniture, paintings, and his works are on display, along with some 19th-century antiques, traditional pottery, and more.
This small museum is divided into two floors, one recreating his daily life in the house where he grew up and died. The ground floor exhibits his works and memorabilia. A shop selling his translated copies of the work can also be found at the ground level. Several boutique shops and stores selling handicrafts, jewellery, souvenirs, artefacts, clothes, and more are across the street.
