How to Reach

By road
From Manali: Kaza is 201 km from Manali. It takes 8 to 10 hours by road via the Kunzum Pass.
From Shimla: Kaza is 414 km from Shimla, with the road journey taking about 12 to 14 hours via Reckong Peo and the Spiti Valley.

By Air: The nearest airport is Bhuntar (near Manali), approximately 250 km away from Kaza. However, flights are limited.
By Train: The closest railway station is at Shimla, from where you can take a taxi or bus to Kaza.

  • Acclimatize: Pin Valley is at high altitude (3,500 meters and above), so it is crucial to spend at least 1-2 days in Kaza to acclimatize.
