The Menshikov Palace

The Menshikov Palace, located on Vasilyevsky Island in Saint Petersburg, is a notable example of early 18th-century Russian architecture. Constructed between 1710 and 1727, it was the residence of Prince Alexander Menshikov, a close associate of Peter the Great and the city's first governor.
