Mercedes Benz Museum, Stuttgart Overview

The Mercedes-Benz Museum, adjacent to the Mercedes-Benz Group headquarters and opposite the MHPArena, is renowned for its extensive collection of over 160 vehicles, ranging from some of the oldest automobiles ever built to legendary racing cars and futuristic prototypes. Visitors can explore more than 1,500 exhibits spread across 16,500 square meters and nine levels, offering a comprehensive journey through automotive and contemporary history dating back to 1886.

Upon arrival, guests are taken to the top floor and guided through a chronological tour that intertwines the brand's history with world events, providing context to each era of automotive development. The museum also features interactive exhibits, including engines and transmissions, allowing visitors to engage with the mechanics of the vehicles. Additionally, the museum hosts special exhibitions throughout the year, showcasing various themes and innovations in automotive history.

How to Reach

To reach the museum, visitors can take the S1 or S11 S-Bahn trains from Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof (main train station) to Neckarpark station, followed by a 15-minute walk.
