Sidheswar Devalaya, Sualkuchi Overview
Sualkuchi is a village where many God and Goddess are worshipped. Sidheswar Devalaya is one of the major temples of this silk village dedicated to Lord Shiva and was renovated by the Ahom king Shiba Singha.
Situated in the south-west part of Sualkuchi on the Sidheswari Hill, this ancient temple is flocked with devotees. Long queues can be witnessed especially during the month of 'Bhole Bom', when one can experience a state of trance and divinity.
