Galissas Beach, Syros Overview
Galissas is one of the most popular beaches in Syros. The reason it is popular is that it doesn't have a huge bay like the other beaches on the island. This blue flag beach is ideal for swimming, snorkeling and windsurfing.
The water here is shallow making it ideal for families with children. The beach is extremely stunning with its golden sand across the stretch of the shore, and small trees along the coast, which also provide shade to the coast for relaxation and mountains surrounding it. The sunsets here are beautiful as well due to their reflection in the crystalline water of the beach.If you want to grab a quick bite while relaxing at the beach, it is adept with several restaurants, taverns, cafés, and beach bars. The Armeous beach is located just a few meters away . A few chairs and umbrellas are also available for use if you want to sunbathe.
