It is popular for activities such as biking, roller-skating, boating and also swimming in the artificial lake during warm seasons. The park also hosts a miniature railway with a locomotive, rails, carriages, and signals which is operated by children from ages 12 to 16, under adult supervision.
At its center stands a monument of Alisher Navoi, the 15th-century Uzbek poet. The park is home to various notable structures and monuments, including the Uzbek Parliament, also known as OliyMajlis, Isatiklol concert hall, the main register office, Abul Kasim Madrasah of 16th century which has been converted into the Centre for Traditional Applied Arts. Here you can see the high skills of painters, jewelers, wood engravers, and miniaturists. You can also purchase the souvenirs from the gift shop.Numerous cafes and restaurants can be found around the lake's shoreline Renamed in honor of the medieval scholar Alisher Navoi, the park has fountains and century-old trees creating shaded pathways.
